The slot's setting is a bright and vibrant underwater world. It’s presented with colourful, eye-catching graphics and immersive sound effects. Symbols and Payouts

The slot has nine regular paying symbols and two bonus ones. During the base game, there are 20 paylines that are active on all spins. To win, at least three identical symbols have to be lined up from left to right on a payline. These symbols must be on consecutive reels to count.

As for the bonus symbols, there are two of them. First, there’s the pink Kraken wild. This substitutes for all regular paying symbols and has payouts of its own:

 

• Two wilds = 0.5x
• Three wilds = 5x
• Four wilds = 10x
• Five wilds = 20x

The wild therefore pays twice what the shark does, except for when just two land on a payline. In this case, the cash prize is the same as the shark’s.

The other bonus symbol is a gold Kraken. This is the scatter and it's linked with the free spins round.

Base Game Special Features

Now onto the special features! In this section, we’ll cover the three features that can be triggered during the slot’s base game. These are as follows:

• Wild Respin. This triggers if four or more wilds appear. You get a respin with wilds moving to new positions and all other symbols spinning. If any new wilds appear, you get another respin. Each respin pays if there are any winning combinations
• Shifting Stack Wilds. On any spin, stacked wilds may appear on any of reels 2-4. When the reels stop spinning, all stacked wilds nudge to fill the reel they’re on. Each nudge increases a multiplier by +1. All multipliers are added together and applied to your winnings
• Guaranteed Win. This may trigger on a non-winning spin. The Kraken appears and rearranges symbols to give you a 20x to 50x win; alternatively, three scatters appear to activate free spins

Free Spins

Landing three gold Kraken symbols triggers the free spins round. Before it comes into play, you get to play a pick-me game. This determines how many spins you get and the multiplier. The more symbols you trigger the feature with, the more spins you can get; the multipliers are bigger too.

The pick-me game works exactly like Deal or No Deal. It starts with 16 chests, each of which has a specific spins-multiplier combination. When the game starts, you’ll be offered one of the chests. You can either accept it or reject it.

Should you reject the chest, you’ll get to choose some chests to remove. You’ll then be offered a number of spins and a multiplier. If you keep rejecting the offer, you’ll eventually end up with two chests. These are the chest you were offered at the start and the last one on screen. In this case, you’ll have to pick one.

The free spins round is played with 40 paylines instead of 20. Whenever a wild lands, it stays on the reels until the round’s over. Each wild moves to a new position on every spin. Gold Kraken wilds can appear and each one has the added effect of increasing the round’s multiplier. This can reach a maximum value of 20x.
